All ages are welcome and this is a free community event, open for all to join us! Collected donations go entirely towards funding our jazz program to pay our guest musicians. Thank you for helping us to keep Jazz happening in Central Virginia!
The Queen City Porch Swingers bring the sounds of New Orleans to the Shenandoah Valley and beyond, aiming to take you back in time with the infectious melodies of songs from the 1910s through the 1940s... Come pull up a seat and listen to tunes seldom heard outside of a record needle. The Queen City Porch Swingers promise to bring the charisma and energy to keep you jazzin' it up all evening long!

Featuring Anne Krieger on vocals, Carolyn Stone on bass and vocals, Harry Powell on lead guitar, and Bob Taylor on rhythm guitar - The QQ plays favorites from the Great American Songbook and you probably know every one of them.
