& Poetry workshop: DIY Culture & Zine Making

  • Rapunzel's Coffee and Books 956 Front Street Lovingston, VA, 22949 United States (map)

This October, Rapunzel’s Coffee and Books will be the host to a free series of Poetry themed workshops open to all community members ages 14yrs and up. Our space has always been dedicated to promoting the appreciation, performance, and writing of poetry. The & Poetry series are workshops for expansive avenues of expression. They will be held inside our space in Lovingston, VA from 4-6pm. Please register so that the organizers are able to prepare and provide enough materials.

What happens when you combine the power of words with another art form? Often called “hybrid” poetry, these forms allow you to experiment with multimedia possibilities which creates a unique way to present your poetry.

Local poets, artists, and performers will lead these workshops introducing attendees to hybrid poetry forms that double the fun.
Here is the schedule below - you may register for one, two, three, or all four events!
No experience needed and all materials will be provided.
